At Tennyson Studio we let the children design and create whatever they desire on their pieces which are prechosen before the day by party parents. We just help them get inspired. At Tennyson Studio we let the children design and create whatever they desire on their pieces which are prechosen before the day by party parents. We just help them get inspired. All pieces can go into the dishwasher, the microwave, and the oven. All pieces will be boxed up and picked up 10 to 12 days later as we will need to glaze and fire them.
We at Tennyson Studio are unique as we create a fun and Creative Pottery Painting Party
we will start the party with an art class where children will draw on tho their pieces in pencil then we guide them with painting in underglazes in a step by step session. All the pencil-drawn designs on their pieces will disappear when the pieces are fired in the kiln. We order pizza an hour into the party. We have a Bluetooth speaker so you may pair your phone with the children's playlist which we use for party games and after our painting sessions for party games, and yes there is even dancing if time permits.
There are 4 packages to choose from for all budgets: If the children have any allergies we recommend you ask the parents to provide a packed lunch for them.
We will also provide you with Digital Party Invitations once a deposit is taken with a credit card at the studio.
All Packages include a personalized signature plate made for the birthday child worth $95 and given as a gift.
Clay and Sip Corporate Workshops
Private Clay Workshop: Mug or Bowl Min. Spend $680
This is the first time we are offering these one-off workshops in 3 hour guided workshops. All Clay is included, 2 firings and glazing is done by us. Once you finish with the workshop please allow up to 3 to 4 weeks for the completed piece to be picked up from our studio.
It's time to create your own hand-built clay pieces of pottery you can use as functional pieces. Grab your group ,perfect for Private Hens or Birthday workshops, bring your drinks, we can offer up to 10 - 12people in the studio at a time. Minimum spend applies Minimum of 8 persons.
1 Day Workshop:You will create a bowl, a mug or a planter from a lump of clay. We will fire them after clay has dried up completely and then glaze.Cost per person $85
If you wish to have your creations painted, we can arrange it to be painted at an extra cost $25 for the underglaze paint before we fire them.
For Booking, you will need to contact us at least 3 days before the workshops where we will take a credit card booking and payment before the date.

In this workshop, you will be making slabs and creating Tea lighthouses with cut-out windows and doors. you can get as creative as you like. If time allows you will be making 2 houses

Acrylic flow Painting on Cheeseboards or Rectangular or Hexagon Serving Tray
Imagine putting this out on your table, it will have everyone wanting one. You choose your own color palette and we will Flip Cup or one of many techniques used in Acrylic Flow paints. The resin will be discussed in the session and can be added after your piece has dried.
No Resin is included in this workshop but will be discussed, which can be added after it has dried.
